How to Copy an Instagram Reel Transcript on Android
Open the Reel in Instagram, use its sharing controls to copy the public link, and paste that link into the Instagram Reels transcript tool in your Android browser. Select Generate Reel transcript, then use Copy text and paste the result into the Android app where you want to edit it.

COPY CHECK
Confirm the clipboard holds the right text
- The pasted content begins with transcript text, not
https://www.instagram.com/. - The first sentence in the destination matches the first sentence visible in the result panel.
- The final visible line was not cut off when you selected or pasted the text.
- Names, figures, and quotations have been checked while replaying the Reel.
- The destination document contains no private or unrelated clipboard item.

Copy when you need editable text
Copy text for a note or draft
Use Copy text when the next step is editing in a notes app, document, message, or content editor. Paste first, then review the opening and closing lines.
Download TXT when you need a file
Choose the TXT output when a separate plain-text file fits your workflow better than the Android clipboard.
Use VTT only when it appears
The VTT control is shown only when the result includes timestamp data. If it is absent, use the visible transcript or TXT output.
Keep the source Reel available for review
Copying transfers the generated text; it does not verify it. Replay uncertain names, numbers, and short phrases before quoting or publishing them.

Copying a Reel transcript on Android
Do I need a separate Android transcription app?
No. The public-link workflow runs in a mobile browser and uses the existing transcript tool.
Why does the tool reject a link I pasted?
Check that the field contains the individual Reel’s HTTPS address on instagram.com. A profile, feed, redirect, or unrelated page is a different input.
Can the link workflow read a private Reel?
No. It requires a publicly accessible Reel. If you own the media and have permission to process it, use your own saved file with the upload option.
What if the clipboard offers more than one item?
Use the item that matches the current transcript’s opening words. If you are unsure, return to the result, select Copy text again, and paste immediately.
